I saw a post recently that was written by another Author. It caused me to wonder about my Hobby/ Habits, and I have to say, I could be in deep trouble if I’m ever suspected in certain crimes. You see, I am one of those people that like details. I find something that interests me, and dig around until I think I have enough information to satisfy my curiosity.
Just for kicks n giggles, I checked my browsing history.
Since October 1, 2014, I have researched:
Navy Seal Training.. Army Ranger Training.. & Of course the ever popular Mercenary aka Private Security Vendors. Sexual crimes and punishments, and of all U.S.A. & even a few U.K Service branches. I learned more than I wanted to learn, and retained about half because the rest didn’t pertain to my original question(s).
Biker MC Historical facts, including leaders, crimes, suspected crimes, favored Make/Model of bike(s). “Biker Wars”, Historical affiliations, and a hundred other facts that I will probably remember at the most inopportune times.
Now the fun stuff!
Poisons : The most effective. The quickest acting. The most painful. The least effective.
Venomous creatures : Including insects, frogs, snakes, and lizards, & sea creatures. If you are fearless, and or don’t have a healthy respect for the creature, you can die from stupidity. The poisons are very effective for torture.
Torture techniques : Fun stuff! Unless, you are the one on the receiving end. This research should not be confused with BDSM practices. I’m talking Citric acid injected under the skin type of torture. (No spankings here). Who would have thought that drain opener, followed by beer are not a good combination when poured down a tube inserted into a human stomach, (orally), or (rectally hits intestines = longer pain before eventual death).
Weapons are yet another guilty pleasure to read about.
These are a few examples of a curious mind. Believe me, this habit of mine is addictive, and hard to walk away from, so I’ll take my chances of my browser being brought under scrutiny. Some people drink, some smoke, some have “other” habits. Mine are just a bit different. Right?
So I am working on the next Lucifer’s Breed book, and blood is being shed. Bikes have been destroyed (sacrilege), and History takes a new turn. I will post teasers later next week.!
